Juicing recipes could vary, but the idea is still the same. A Green Smoothie can be prepared by mixing fruits with leafy greens and water. All you need to do is put all three ingredients together and blend them in a high-speed blender for a few minutes to break the fiber structure of the greens and fruits and have them all mixed together. The blending method would bring out the important vitamins and minerals contained in these festivals. The result is a green and healthy smoothie that tastes as sweet as fruits.

For such recipes we can use the leafy greens and celery because they can blend well with fruits. Other types of green vegetables such as Broccoli and cauliflower do not blend well when uncooked; hence we don’t use them in recipes for smoothie diets.

Mixing fruits with this blend would add a nice flavor and a sweet taste appealing both to children and adults. For children, start with higher percentage of fruit to greens and add gradually as kids get used to the greens taste in the smoothie.
